Position: Architect and Tech Lead – Platform
Experience: 8-10 years
Role:
As our Architect and Tech Lead, you will lead the software architecture design of our product photography app and overall platform and the development of the platform. This position is a hands-on role where we expect you to get directly involved with technology, platform and development methodology choices, high level software and data flow decisions as well as helping the team with implementation and troubleshooting. You will deploy advanced knowledge and expertise to ensure we meet product requirements while developing subsystem requirements, architecture, and designs. It is imperative that you ensure that software designs are correct, efficient, robust, and make the system a joy for our users to interact with.
Required Skills:
• 8-10+ years of SW architecture and development experience, from concept to large scale deployment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Deep knowledge of MERN or MEAN stack and Javascript
• Deep knowledge of optimizing data storage in MongoDB
• Experience building software platforms from the ground-up, creating standards, guidelines, and development methods
• Experience leading a complex software program with multiple development threads
• Experience with Cloud Deployment, Scalable Solutions and large scale concurrent usage
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies
Nice to have:
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Experience with Recommender systems and data design for large scale deployment
• Experience with Flask and Python
